About my two illustrations that were displayed at the exhibition:
- The first illustration depicts a cute little and joyful girl. She rides on the birds' wings, and draws her imaginary world - the illustration is taken from the book "How Long Can We Wait Until Ayelet Will Eat Vegetables" by David (Dudi) Green / Illustration: Iris Gat / "Avitar Books" Publishing 2017.
- The second illustration depicts a couple sitting on the beach and looking at the horizon landscape, and through themself, their shared a journey that reflected their new path together. Each one of them is like a complementary wing to its partner, and together they become one beautiful butterfly (the whole is greater than the sum of its parts) - the illustration is taken from the book "The heartbeat knows" by Carmela Ben Nun Moshe / Illustrations: Iris Gat / Self-publishing 2021.
The illustration week was presented between 18-27 November 2021 and features dozens of exhibitions, workshops, meetings with illustrators, outdoor illustrations, and sales fairs. Entry to exhibitions and participation in most events is free.
