My little friends

When Orna, my good friend, asked me to illustrate for her a story-poem she wrote a few years ago, I didn't know what exactly came out of my hands... the naive purity that flow from her writing spoke to my heart. I wondered who didn't have imaginary tiny little friends in childhood, those who loved you as you are without conditions, they accepted you no matter what… Orna accompanied me during the creation and described to me how she sees her tiny friends in her imagination, and the illustrations that came to life were adapted to her image. The process was wonderful and the result is beautiful: an accordion book that is entirely a gift.
The message of the book is - the knowledge that there is good and there is help even if you don't see them.Â

When I went to the book festival in Tel Aviv, it was very exsited... I was celebrated with Nava Pilizer the publication of her new book - "The Prince of Chocolateland", which I illustrated. It is impossible to describe the joy tha 2was in the air, whether in Nave - the writer who wanted to fulfill a dream, or whether in her family members, alongside the parents and children who approached the stand to purchase this sweet book. Making dreams come true for others is a great joy and privilege for me. The colorfull Nava's book is one that can make you smile :)
